Whew the weekend is done
What a busy busy weekend. It's almost 7:30 and I'm ready to crash. Bill and I worked the pancake breakfast (we cooked and Cole ran part of the Kitchen). Then after that was done at noon I went down and finished up the silent auction. By 4:00 I was beat. Clay got to ride the rides with his friends. He no longer wants mom and dad to come with him and he's riding the big kid rides. It's cute to watch. Kyle was with his friends but ready to leave the event with Cole around 5. At least that's over and now I get to sit back and watch football this week.

Cold, Crack, and Rain

Well Football season is in full swing here at the Rogers household. Cole did well at the DC Everest game and played on Special teams last night in the rain. He loves to hit. Clay is still learning the game and the competive side of the sport. Cole reffed his game. I was a little nervous on how this was going to go but it went well. Kyle stayed home last night to go to Panacea. We're going tonight. It's the begining of school and end of summer. Clay is playing at half time at the UWSP game. I think it's time for me to take a nap (Yeah like that's going to happen)
On a political note. The terrible media that's attacking Palin. Did anyone see this weeks People magazine. She is front cover and there's a big article in it on her and then one on the McCain/Palin ticket. Let's try and exploit our family a little more. I thought she did a nice job delivering a speech. I too rolled my eyes to the back of my brain a couple of times. To bad I missed George's and John's speech. I don't think I'll search the internet for them.

Team Service Master's Website
Clay's coach made them a webpage. It's http://webpages.charter.net/teamservicemaster/
Check it out!
Check it out!
It's Wednesday and I'm home
This is not to say that I have nothing to do. I just don't have to be anywhere near a football field today. Bill, Cole, and Kyle are practicing and Clay is playing at friends house. 5 whole minutes of quiet.
Can we build a bridge and get over it already. I don't want to hear anything about a war hero or the war on terror. I get it, I've gotten it for the last 8 years. Also why would I want to vote for a president who made a knee jerk selection for his VP. Did we not know the scandals? If you are this detailed about this decision how would I trust you would make the right decision on the big issues. I hear there are many Republicans calling for Palin's withdrawal. Polls say that they are guaranteed to loose with this ticket. If I have a moose dressing issue I'll call (Stupid Fred Thompson)

St. Pete's vs. Wey-Fre
Kyle played a great game. Their team won 28-0. He played offensive line and kicked. He had a great time however being Kyle it's never good enough.
Oh give me a break!
Ok I understand that everyone makes mistakes. Heaven knows it could have been me. However, I can not imagine that my parents would get up in front of the entire nation and tell them that they were proud of me. I remember Mom and Dad saying I was getting to serious to fast. At 17 what the hell do you know. That's Cole in 6 Months. Can anyone imagine him being ready to be married and a father. Hell he's still having a tough time figuring high school out. I can't believe they are putting this poor girl in the national spotlight. I like how they hid it last night by having her hold her baby brother. Give Barack credit. He said he'd fire anyone on his campaign who used this. Classy dude. This situation makes me hate that side of the fence even more.
Other shocking news; Cole is the powder puff's coach (juniors and sophomores). This should be interesting. He's also playing in the power puff volleyball game.
Kyle has his game in a couple of hours. Watch for the updates later.

Nice Day to NOT labor
What a nice humid day. Nothing really planned today. Cole and Bill had to go get the picnic tables from the area parks for the upcoming Panacea. They are getting ready to head to football practice at 5. I hope they go without pads today. We're just planning our week. It's going to be a fun filled LONG week of football. Kyle has his first game tomorrow and Clay has pictures. Hope everyone is enjoying their day off. (O.K those of us that are not retired).
