I don't know if they know what they got themselves into but the Post 6 Baseball just voted me on their board! It's so much fun to be able to be a part of something that I really believe in and enjoy. I'm sure I won't always feel this way but I feel it's a great honor and can't wait to start helping make decisions.
Kyle went and worked out with his coach today. He does love his baseball. Cole's out w/ his buds. Clay is sitting on the couch and playing on the computer. Nice quiet night.
Let the games begin!!

Great Day Off
Had a much needed day off. Went to Wausau w/ Cole to get his glasses fixed. Had a nice time w/ him just 1:1. Went to my favorite Mexican restraunt (El Jalapeno's), got treated to flan (yum). We got home just before the others did. Now it's off to a board meeting for baseball. Can't wait to hear the sound of cleats on the field. Here's back to work.

Goodbye 2011 Hello 2012!
2011 has been a year of growing pains and challenges. It has been a year of changes in our family. Addition of girlfriends, loss of family and friends. Along with these changes have come to ability learn that things will be different and trying to accept and find balance in sharing the boys and adjusting to losses. 2011 has brought us challenges with the boys. Thank goodness nothing life altering and it all comes with the territory of raising teenagers and learning experiences. Mom always said that little problems come with little kids and big problems with big kids. Work has been a challenge and the decision to leave a job after 16 years was a tough one. I feel it was the right decision. With Walker and his changes ,Bill's job is still uncertain but as always if something does happen we will get through it. Reading this might be depressing but it has been a roller coaster of a year for us. With this I look forward to 2012 and the excitement it will bring. I believe positive changes are happening for all of us. Welcome 2012! Happy New Year to all of you! I wish everyone the best for the year!

Christmas 2011
All the work that goes into getting perfect gift. It's amazing that's it's all over in a blink of an eye. I think the boys all had a good Christmas. It's tough the older they get because there is a lot less under the tree. There were a few surprises that weren't expected. Bill finally got his ipod and is thrilled. The boys got me a massage and Cole and Kyle got Clay a new skateboard. We then said goodbye to Kyle as he went to Hannah's family and the rest of us went to a movie. Bill and Clay went to Chipwrecked and Cole and I went to Sherlock Holmes. It was wonderful. Now off to make Lasagna and have Christmas dinner. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well.

Crazy Weekend and Start of the week
Cole was home this weekend seeing a friend who is shipping out to Afganistan soon. He was home fairly upset about this. He's back to school for finals this week. 1 semester down 3 to go. I know it was tough for him to suck it up and go back but I'm pretty proud of him for doing it.
Kyle was at a dance competition this weekend with Hannah. Then off to a hockey game. He started to build a hockey rink and it was coming along nicely until the weather warmed up and melted it all.
Clay was at a movie with his friend. Its so funny that he is getting so big. He and his buddy got dropped off at the theater and then picked up after. I forget that he is in 6th grade. He also got his cell phone so he is constinantly texting us from wherever he is in the house.
Bill is busy fixing brakes. First he got Cole's done 2 weeks ago. My back brakes wore out along with a flat tire this week. Kyle's rear brakes went out on Saturday. When it rains it pours.
I'm busy getting Christmas cards ready to go out, tree up, gifts bought. I'm adjusting to my job just fine. New reports to do keep creeping up and now my OTR quit today. Finding a new one should be fun.
Here's to the rest of the week.

All I want for Christmas!
In this age when Christmas has gotten so comercialized I look at these teenage/tweener faces and realize that all I want for Christmas is these 3 under one roof w/ no fights. Yeah like that's going to happen. But a girl can dream. Hope all your wishes come true this holiday season.
