Dancing Queen

Last night was Senior/Parent night at the basketball game. Cole got recruited by the dance team to help out with the half time performance. They danced to "Thriller" they are all in white because the theme was "white out". The basketball team even wore thier white uniforms instead of the red home ones. Things Are Looking UP

Wow what a turn around this week. Cole went to Platteville to see it and seems to really like. Now it's just going to be getting him in. Kyle has been very busy perfecting his bod. (Oh lordy) Clay has had an awsome week which is nice to hear and see. Bill's been busy with fixing snowmobiles, helping me with the play and just out putsing with his cars and stuff. Life is finally calm. I do know this is the calm before the storm

I LOVE the Olympics

Nothing like cheering for your home teams to win. It always gets me a little choked up to hear the anthem play for our team. It's even more fun to watch people from Wisconsin play. Mens and womens hockey especially.

Everything is calm for the time being here. Cole is headed to Platteville for new recruits weekend. He's staying with a friend of theirs over night. 3 of the boys are going. Hopefully it will light a fire under his arse.

Kyle is perfecting his body, skiing and snowmobiling.

Clay is giving his parents more grey hairs however we hear he's doing so much better. Let's hope so.

I'm begining to see a break in the rainclouds.

One more thing checked off the to do list

Cole retook the ACT test today. He was ornery going in and ornery the rest of the day after. He said the science and math parts were tough. All we can do now is wait and see. It is what it is. I'll be glad when we finally figure out where he is planning on going next year. This shouldn't be this tough. He has the musical this weekend and next so he'll be busy. Kyle is up skiing at Rib and Clay is working on a massive amount of homework. Lots of redo's. Can't wait for the superbowl tomorrow night. Steve and Amy are coming over.

Little Black Rain Cloud!

I've been walking around today hearing Winnie the Pooh sing his little black rain cloud song. This is sad on 2 levels. 1- I know the song and the tune and 2- life just isn't getting any better. I may just stay in bed all day tomorrow. I keep hoping things will start to get better and then one more thing happens.

What Next?!

OK let me just say I had really high hopes for this year. It came in kicking my arse. I thought the worst was over but everyday the universe decides it hasn't had it's way enough with me yet! I am hanging on by a toe nail, unfortunately my poor family is getting the brunt of my ill tempered short fuse. I just want to go away and crawl in a hole with a nice fleece blanky and come out in 2011.
